I am a native of the North Georgia mountains.  
I opened Appalachian Realty in 1986 because I wanted to help people find their dreams in these mountains, just as I had found mine several years before.  I have a passion for real estate and I am driven by it.  I enjoy meeting people, making friends and helping others.
My husband Bruce and I moved to Gilmer County since 1981.  We have seen the growth and change here, but we have maintained our peacefulness and beauty, in part, because of the large area of Chattahoochee National Forest that surrounds us.  The beauty and abundant wildlife draw nature-lovers and make living here a wonderful privilege and blessing.
I am a Life Member of the NE GA Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club, an accredited buyers agent and an e-pro internet professional.  I specialize in locating  just the right property for my clients.  I go above and beyond what you expect of an agent.  That is what has made my business and career successful.  I hold my agents to the same standards I adhere to.   I know that you will be pleased with their knowledge, professionalism and willingness to insure that clients and customers are pleased  with the service they receive.  This keeps our customers and clients returning when the time to purchase or sell real estate arises again.

I grew up riding horses in the North Georgia mountains and I know our mountains are one of his finest works.  I am proud that he has made me a steward of the land.

I love my horses, but I love to ride my bike, too!  If you ride, you'll be in heaven in our beautiful area.  The Tail of the Dragon, the Hellbender, the Cherohala Skyway, NC 28 So, Richard Russell Scenic Hwy, Hwy 60 South and Hwy 180 are just a few of the fantastic, twisty & scenic roads right outside our doors! 
Above you see me on my first street bike, on the left, a sweet little 750 HONDA ACE and on the right is my 55th birthday present to myself, a Pacific Blue & Black 2008 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic.  I'm happy!
